Origin of the Brand Name,Tivoli

  Our trademark, “Tivoli Fountain”, and our brand name, “Tivoli”, were made by Izumi Higuchi, the founder. While his trip to Italy, he saw a fountain and impressed with its endless, elegant water flow. Tivoli, it’s a name which always encourages us to work, learn and live vividly with class. Izumi, His fist name means “fountain” in Japanese, too.

  Our passion for continuous innovation of confectionary techniques, coupled with our never-ending step to satisfy our customers, is the fuel that motivates us.

  TIVOLI confectionary DNA is largely influenced by renowned German methods. Mr. Hens Herrman, an influential professor at our previous president’s school,taught his students “the taste of baked cookies is 99 % from the ingredients, followed by the techniques to make use of them”.

  TIVOLI group develops unique confectionary products fueled by the desire to satisfy our customers’ every expectation. We are proud of our refined development and manufacturing techniques, many inherited from our previous president.

“What is a “Meister”?
 Meister means ‘master’ in German. The state-approved grade of “Master Craftsman” is the highest professional qualification one can obtain within a craft. At this master level, a craftsman is also allowed to train apprentices. The education includes theoretical and practical training in the craft, as well as business and legal training. The status of Master craftsman is regulated in the German Gesetz zur Ordnung des Handwerks, HwO (Crafts and Trades Regulation Code).

  We import high quality ingredients from all over the world through our group company, TIVOLI international Inc. For example, we import nuts from US, Italy and Australia. For other ingredients such as chocolates, we import from Belgium, France and Germany. We are constantly studying to match the best suppliers with our high standards for ingredients.

About TIVOLI International Inc.

 To maintain our high standards, we have always operated under the philosophy that “the ingredients make up 99% of the baked cookies taste, followed by the mastery of technique.” We do not use domestic trading companies to import our ingredients. We search worldwide for the highest quality ingredients that meet our group’s strict quality standards, and directly import these ingredients from overseas.

 TIVOLI International Inc. has two main roles. One is to seek and import the highest quality ingredients from overseas. The other is to export our final manufactured products overseas. Our group policy is to import the best ingredients directly from overseas. For example, every October during the key harvest time for almonds, we go directly to our supplier’s farms with experts to check the quality of the almonds and to determine if they meet our strict standards. The taste of confectionaries mainly comes from its ingredients. Therefore, we take detailed care about each step in the process to ensure we provide the freshest and highest quality ingredients to our factories.

 We are encouraged by our export growth, and are determined to explore new markets and customers to share our love for confectionary. In the Asian region, we export to Taiwan, China, Singapore, Thailand and others. In Euro-American region, we export to the United States of America, Canada, Australia, Russia, and others. In total, we export our products to over 20 countries. Among our products, Red Hat brand is patronaged by many of our overseas customers with the brand image of “Happiness giving Red Hat”.
