Showa 21 - 23 (1946 - 1948)

  • Izumi Confectionery Co., Ltd. established
    Temporary factory in Anakiri-cho, Kofu City, amidst the scorched earth of air raids.
  • Began production of candy confections.

  • Factory relocated to 2,500 tsubo in Yuda, Kofu City.

  • Business alliance between Izumi Seika and Kanebo Harris

1968 (Showa 43)

  • Ltd., a souvenir confectionery manufacturer and wholesaler in Yugawara-machi, Kanagawa Prefecture, acquires business rights and changes company name to TIVOLI Co.
  • Employees who wished to remain in the confectionery business were transferred from the Ikebukuro head office and other locations to Tivoli Co. Confectionery business continued.

  • Establishment of confectionery DNA and systematization of technology to the present day
    Koji Higuchi (currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of TIVOLI Holdings Co., Ltd.) obtains the German Meister (the first Japanese to do so)
    Received Eternal Meister of the Year* later.

1980 (Showa 55)

  • El Madrón Co., Ltd. established
    *Business tie-up with Madrón (Munich, Germany) Started wholesale business for confectionery stores nationwide

    Started Tivoli Group's antenna store business.
     In 2009, the store was moved to Yugawara-cho, Kanagawa Prefecture, and the company name was changed to Tivoli Sweets Factory Co.
