- Izumi Confectionery Co., Ltd. established
Temporary factory in Anakiri-cho, Kofu City, amidst the scorched earth of air raids. - Began production of candy confections.

- Ltd., a souvenir confectionery manufacturer and wholesaler in Yugawara-machi, Kanagawa Prefecture, acquires business rights and changes company name to TIVOLI Co.
- Employees who wished to remain in the confectionery business were transferred from the Ikebukuro head office and other locations to Tivoli Co. Confectionery business continued.
